RULES AND GUIDELINES
Club Leon Los Angeles was established in Jun. 2022, by Martha Aviña to give every committed and interested player the opportunity to play in a competitive, friendly, and nurturing environment at low costs.
CPR: The best way to survive and thrive in this team is by always performing “CPR”. Communication, Participation and Respect.
New Players: Welcome to Leon! We are grateful and delighted with your decision to consider Leon to be your son/daughter’s soccer team. Please read below to learn more about the team.
Participating Leagues
- Leopardo’s Soccer League
- Gala Soccer League
- Coast Soccer League
- PSSLU League
- Anahuac Soccer League
- Southwest Super League
- Temple Soccer League
Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm at Conteras HS.
Games: Saturdays and Sundays. The game schedule comes out on Tuesday night or Wednesday morning and is published on TeamSnap where you will be additional details of games, practices, etc.
Participation: A player must participate in practices, official games, and/or friendly games to be considered an active participant of this team. If a player is not an active participant, that player will be removed from the team. This goes to Club and Non-Club players.
Playing Time: Some players are more experienced, skilled, and committed than others, therefore, “equal” playing time is not guaranteed. Other things [interest, commitment, and communication] are taken into consideration when allocating playing time.
Friendly Games: These games are ideal for those players who need extra practice and playing time. Those players who want to improve and/or stay sharp are encouraged to participate in these games. The more a player plays, the better he gets. No player will get better at playing soccer sitting on the bench.
Team Status: Leon is a non-profit organization recognized by the State of California and in good standing with the Department of Justice. If you or someone you know wishes to donate to help, please send me a message: 562-965-4827.
